It’s the members opinions that the board should listen to. After RIPE 86 we’ll have a few open house sessions on the budget where members can discuss and give their input, and of course there is the membership mailing list. What I would change in the RIPE NCC budget is to strive to get a yet more as much detailed version of the budget and its content to be visible for the members, so they can make easier decisions on what they want to promote, and what has less preference.
