Expecting volunteers to provide them, especially at home, is a pain in the neck at each of my giveaway sessions.<br>Some of volunteers actually use their phone chargers or PC ports for that and I am afraid they may take it back any time for granted, and leave the probe off and forgotten forever.<br><div class="x-axi-signature"><br>Also the LED's give no clues as everything has been coded from scratch on the probes. One of mine has been running for a week with the big reset button LED off, then after a power recycle, it came up and the probe doing fine as before, while some other LED is never seen on.<br><br>In addition, no network activity is shown on the probe itself, and I have to keep an eye on a one-out-of-many LED on the switch to see if the life is going on with the probe.<br>I think developers can put a little effort to make sense out of LED's and give us a manual in order to be able to troubleshoot probes.<br>I suggest one for network, one for activity, one for connectivity to the server, one for updates, one for power-up<br><br>One other demand is the poster of the Atlas. It doesn't help promotions much. More information is demanded, much like a catalog, answering more questions and highlighting more features. Gaining people's cyber trust is not easy these days. Especially when they want to participate at their own costs, "at their own risk" is not an option.<br>Also, as we may need many copies of it to share here and there, it would be nice if some pack of hard copies is enclosed with the probes sent to us and and at least 2 sheets for each host.<br><br>Last but not least, an online certification or badge or some ID with our picture on it or something alike can be of much more credit to ambassadors and helps us get around resistance.<br><br>Regards,<br>M.
