I was asking because I had a similar issue recently. If I
remember correctly, I inserted the USB key before starting the
probe, and after few minutes I checked the USB key again and it
was partitioned with 3 1GB partitions.<br>

I might also be wrong, because I was playing around with the USB
key, but I think it's worth a try.<br>

Do not remember exactly, but most likely I did reboot
probe with the new key inserted at least once. In any
case, I can do this test if you have some specific
reasons to believe it will change something.<br>

yesterday, simple reboots didn't help.
Suspecting problem with USB key I first tried to
replace it with a new one. I took bog standard
Transcend JetFlash 350 8Gb right out of the
wrapping and inserted it into a started probe 10
minutes after boot. Did not format the flash key
or alter it in any way, because someone
previously said that it is not necessary.
Unfortunately, probe did not come up, and the
flash key seems unchanged after approximately 1
hour wait. What should I do to switch to a new
flash key? Also, did someone tried connecting
HDDs/SSDs, shouldn't they work better?<br>

(Probe did appear after I inserted previously
used flash key into it, but I suspect problem
will re-occur in the future, so I'd like to know
a way to fix it more permanently.)
